21 No Junk Food Challenge!

So I have come across an awesome no junk food for 21 days challenge from The Daily Hiit blog this morning and want to give it a shot! I eat primarily clean anyway, so it should not be an issue, but for those of you who are addicted to sugar, fast foods, and soda-would you be willing to give it a try?
You will be amazed at how good you will feel afterwards!
Trust me, give it a try :)
I did for 9 months and lost 45lbs!

To do this challenge, you need to avoid these things:
  • chips
  • soda
  • chocolate
  • candy
  • white bread
  • cookies or biscuits
  • fast foods
  • cakes, pastries, muffins
  • ice cream

When is it Okay to Ask A Lady if She is Pregnant?


Have you ever asked a lady if she was pregnant, only to find out with great embarrassment that she wasn't it?

Ehhh guilty here!

I think a lot of us have asked or at least wondered. But when is it ok to ask someone if they might be pregnant?

I am 18 weeks pregnant and have not had anyone ask me the dreaded question yet. But I would be delighted to answer that question! However, not many women are like me. Best bet? 

Dont ask!

Most women are very insecure about their weight when it comes to being pregnant due to the rapid weight gain. Some find themselves in a state of shock or panic to see the numbers rise, so always be aware and sensitive to this fact.

When a woman is pregnant, and wants you to know, she will tell you.

18 Weeks Pregnancy Chalkboard Update


How far along? 18 Weeks! We are officially ALMOST halfway there!

Gender: ITS A BOY!

Weight Gain: 1.5 lbs

Stretch Marks: None

Belly Button: In

Wedding Rings On/Off:  On

Movement: I feel him more and more each day. His kicks also get stronger with each day. I can feel him most when I talk loudly or laugh.

Feeling: Feeling great!!!! And fit!!!!!

Cravings: All of my cravings are starting to diminish thank goodness :) I am feeling normal.

Symptom: Feeling flutters in my belly! :) Light headedness at times.

Missing: A nice glass of wine!

Looking Forward to: Meeting my little man! We have been shopping for him since we knew the gender!

Sleep: I feel like I could sleep FOREVER lol.

Exercise:  Doing cardio around 6 days a week now for 30 minutes on the Elliptical. I also go for runs around he neighborhood or on the beach.

Eating: Healthy all the way! 2,300 cals per day. Lots of fruits, veggies, and lean meats.
