Homemade Vitamin Water
For the longest time, Vitamin Water was a favorite of mine. I would spend the usual $1.50 or so on the bottle and feel great knowing I was drinking away at all of the vitamins. Boy, was I wrong! It was a harsh reality once I realized that Vitamin Water's labeling was very misleading. Not to mention, it was chocked full of SUGAR-33 grams to be exact! Not the kinda drink you wanna suck down on a daily basis-especially if you are wanting to lose or maintain your weight.
So here is a simpler and better alternative.
You can use this as a detox or just a drink to enjoy on a hot summer day.
Take any fruit you want.
Place it at the bottom of a large jar.
Mash the fruit to a pulp.
Pour in distilled water.
Chill for 4-6 hours.
Drink away!!!!
Jumpstart Your Labor Cookies
I have been hearing so much about these "Jumpstart Your Labor Cookies" that it has me curious. I have been reading up lots on Lactation cookies and those truly serve a purpose and help to boost milk supply. But what about these "Labor" cookies?
The common thought is that certain spices such as cloves, cinnamon, & cayenne can actually get you into labor-if spice is your trigger. Every lady is different. I have read success stories and have read stories where these just do not work.
Hmmm. Never hurts to try! I will probably make a cleaner version using whole wheat or coconut flour and substitute the sugars for Stevia or Truvia, and nix the butter, using coconut oil instead.
Who doesn't like cookies??
Jump-Start Your Labor Cookies

Once cool eat as many as you can possibly stomach, lay down for a nap and wait for labor to begin!
Diary of a Fit Mommy's One Week Clean Eating Plan
Here is a one week example of how I ate when I lost almost 50lbs. As you can see, I ate every 2-3 hours to keep my metabolism high and fired up. This is similar to how I will be eating for my Postpartum diet plan.
