It may not be spring just yet, but it is never a bad idea to start cleaning now! By the time spring does come, your house won't be as much of a disaster as it could have been! But sometimes cleaning can be stressful because you do not know where to start. That is when you take it a day at a time!
Day One: All Bathrooms
- Clean toilet bowl, sink, bath, & shower.
- Empty trash.
- Change out towels.
- Wipe down mirror and counter tops.
Day Two: Living & Dining Room
- Clean TV & entertainment center
- Dust
- Wipe windows & windowsills
- Vaccum rugs
- Sweep floors
- Dust coffee table
Day Three: Kitchen
- Clean all appliances: stove, fridge, oven, etc
- Vacuum rugs and sweep floors
- Mop floor
- Throw out expired foods
- Organize pantry and the fridge
- Do the dishes
- Take out the trash
Day Four: Kids Rooms (if no kids, clean any other extra rooms in your home)
- Pick up toys
- Change bedsheets
- Take out trash
- Wipe down furniture and toys
- Dust
Day Five: Master/Guest Bedrooms
- Dust/clean bedside tables
- Take out the trash
- Vacuum floor
- Mop floor (if applicable)
- Change bedsheets
Day Six: Laundry
- Do all laundry
- Clean your washing machine & dryer
- Clean walls and baseboards (dust loves to stay trapped in the laundry room!)
- Empty trash
- Mop floors
Day Seven: Organize Garage
- Sweep garage floor
- Mop garage floor
- Organize tools & garage items
- Wash cars
