Chicken & Tofu Veggie Shish Kabob Skewers


Tonight for dinner, I made Chicken & Tofu veggie shish kabobs. I will be putting these on the grill in a few moments! My husband and I have taken a liking to tofu recently and I have decided to include it into our meals since its healthy, lowfat, low calorie, and high in calcium. To make skewers like these, you will need:
  • Chicken
  • Tofu
  • Mushrooms 
  • Bell peppers
  • Onions
I marinated these using Dale's marinade and Dash seasoning for about 2 hours. The great thing about tofu is that its versatile and takes on any flavor. I soaked the wooden skewers in water for an hour then placed each ingredient on the stick. Then to the grill they will go! 
Healthy, clean, and satisfying.
