Clean Eating Cookie Dough

Who loves eating cookie dough around here? I am sooo guilty. Obviously, they saw the raw eggs risk your chances of getting salmonella poisoning, but who honestly thinks about that when they dip into the cookie dough container? The truth is that you can risk your health by eating raw cookie dough, but that's not all! You also risk derailing your diet and expanding your waist line because of all of that yummy sugar.

So what's a better alternative? Chickpeas!

Ingredients
1 cup chickpeas
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons agave nectar
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions
  1. Combine chickpeas, peanut butter, vanilla extract, and agave in a blender or food processor. Blend until it's a fine puree.
  2. Remove cookie dough mixture from blender, and place in a large bowl. Add vegan chocolate chips, and mix well with a wooden spoon.
