Photo Shows Hipocrisy Behind Breastfeeding

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words.

This is probably one reason why the following photo went viral across the internet recently.

An Israeli photograher and mother of two (soon to be three), Tamar Shugert, spotted a Facebook photo contest that was themed "Make a Statement." And that, she did!

With a caption reading, "If you are not willing to eat your lunch in the bathroom, then don't expect me to feed my kid there!"  this photo soon went viral-speaking volumes for breastfeeding mothers everywhere.

You might be wondering who's that man eating spaghetti in the same bathroom-that is Tamar's husband who is in 100% agreement with her on this issue.

The photo went on to win The Audience Award with over one thousand likes and even more shares, helping to spread awareness over the comments that get thrown around each and everyday from people about breastfeeding and where a mother should feed her baby.

When I first had my son, I breastfed in a bathroom stall. Why? I was afraid of offending someone.

But, as I became more comfortable, as a nursing mother, I realized that it is a very natural thing. Everyone will always have their own opinions on the topic and that's fine.

Covered, or not, have you ever tried eating your dinner under a cover?
Didn't think so.
