For as long as I could remember, I have suffered from back and neck pain. I never was sure what the root cause of my chronic pain was due to, but I know it had to be stress related. The saying, "Carrying the world on your shoulders" stands true for a reason-when you are stressed, your muscles tense up causing back and neck pain, headaches, aching, and fatigue-all symptoms I had going on. I would be in TEARS some nights due to the pain and my doctor prescribed me muscle relaxants such as Flexeril or Robaxin. I could never find relief for my pain..
Until I started juicing and going to the gym to lift weights.
Crazy as it sounds, but juicing and weight lifting has healed me of my pain. Sometimes, I ache a little but its nothing compared to how it used to be. I dont even need medicine for it anymore! Diet & Exercise IS my medicine. Not only does it give me energy I havent had since I was a teen, it has improved my skin tone, my mood, and my flexibility. I recommend anyone giving it a try. Yoga would also be a wonderful addition as well.
Hippocrates knew what he was talking about!
