Pregnancy & Me

It's been just a few short days since I found out my husband and I were expecting and I'm almost I'm disbelief! I'm 6 weeks along as of today and I don't feel pregnant- actually I feel pretty normal-aside from the cravings, fatigue, sore breasts, and frequent urination! No sickness yet, thank goodness. My husband is lucky a diet therapist and informs me of what I can and can't eat. I'm still eating healthy and going to the gym-pregnancy is not an excuse to quit! My body is still the same at the moment and my 6 pack is intact, but I'm excited over the idea of my impending "bump." My husband is as overjoyed as can be!! Every night, he kisses me and my barely there bump goodnight. I'm looking forward to my first OB visit here in a few weeks and hearing the heart beat for the first time!

My Secret to Conceiving Faster

Mucinex! It's true.

Mucinex is a decongestant that you typically would use when you have a cold to relieve your sinuses from mucous buildup, but that's not the only mucous it thins- it also thins your cervical mucous too, thus helping the sperm reach your eggs in no time!

I initially heard this through a pregnant coworker, at a gynecology clinic i worked for, who did this herself and it worked! She heard it through our pharmaceutical representative who tried it and became pregnant immediately! So I thought we would give it a try.

The first month we tried, I didn't use it. The second month we tried, I took mucinex for 7 days during my fertile days-and that's how I ended up pregnant!

So if you're wanting to conceive or are having a little trouble, this is definitely worth a try!
