What you will need:
- 1 medium or large spaghetti squash
- 1 jar of spaghetti sauce (I make my own and store them)
- 1 brick of cheese (I used Romano here, but Parmesan is best)
- Basil/Oregano to taste
- Salt/Pepper to taste
- You will first need to cut at least 10 slits into the squash to ventilate.
- Then roast the squash in the oven at 375 degrees for 30-45 minutes, depending on how big it is.
- When the squash is finished roasting, remove it from the oven and let cool for 15 minutes then cut in half.
- Taking a fork, remove the seeds while scraping the insides of the squash into a bowl or onto a plate. The consistency will be stringy like pasta.
- Pour over meat sauce and top with cheese! Simple enough?
