HERE ARE SOME SIMPLE STEPS TO GET RID OF CELLULITE:
- Diet – Processed foods full of additives, preservatives or flavor enhancers are very harmful to health and beauty. To get rid of cellulite, include in your diet at least eight servings of fruits and vegetables per day and follow Dr. Oz’s recommendations. Give up fatty, red meat, pastries, pasta, white flour and sweets.
- Detoxification – When adopting of a healthy diet, a detox program would be the next step to give the get rid of cellulite program a boost. Drink at least two liters of water per day, reduce salt intake and replace coffee with green tea which is one of the most powerful antioxidant.
- Exercise – It’s not easy to become suddenly active if you are a sedentary person. This is why you should gradually start with as little as five minutes of exercise on the first day, ten the next day until to get at least 30 minutes of exercise every day. It is important to know that every minute moving counts very much for your beauty and health. Simple activities that will help you get rid of cellulite are jumping rope, cycling or pilates exercises but taking a brisk walk is a great way of pumping the blood up and boosting the fat burn if you are not an exercise person.
- Dry Brushing – Brushing your body with a dry body brush before each bath removes the layer of dead cells on the skin surface, but has another beneficial effect, helping eliminate the cellulite. The strokes should start from the bottom up, from the feet to the torso and they stimulate blood circulation and lymphatic system, which helps eliminate the dreadful toxins responsible for cellulite. Use a natural bristle body brush to avoid harming your skin especially if you are on the sensitive side. This one is by far my most favorite brush as it’s got a detachable long handle:
- Salt Baths – This one is my favorite way to get rid of cellulite as it also helps me relax and forget about my problems, cellulite included. The salt baths are very useful for removing toxins from the body. Put in your bath a cup of salt, three times a week. You can use regular salt bath, or pharmacy or health food stores salts. Stay in salt water for at least 15 minutes, then rinse out. Use a moisturizing body lotion afterwards.
