MRM Supplement Review

Hi guys, I am back with yet another supplement review from MRM. This time, we tested out a different variety of products that might interest you.

My husband tested out the Joint Synergy Supplement + Roll On combo pack

This product provides a systematic approach to joint care and repair. Each capsule supplies the most advanced ingredients known to promote joint health including the superior activity of Noto-Gin™. Noto-Gin™ is a unique form of Panax Ginseng shown in exciting new studies to provide fast relief to muscles, bones and joints. Clinical research has demonstrated the effectiveness of these compounds individually, and together, in assisting the body to rebuild damaged connective tissue. Glucosamine Sulfate has years of clinical and experimental use indicating its benefits as the building blocks of connective tissue. Chondroitin Sulfate and Collagen protein complex have a unique ability to hold large quantities of water;therefore, cushioning and lubricating joints. The sulfur component in Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane (MSM) as well as Glucosamine and Chondroitin promote the production of disulfide bonds which are responsible for the rigidity and strength of connective tissue.

Joint Synergy+ Roll-on is a topical analgesic that is fast acting with clinically proven ingredients to provide fast, long-lasting relief for muscles and joints. My husband said that the roll on is super easy to apply and works almost instantly. The only tip that he gave regarding this product is: Don't sweat with it on because it burns!

I had the chance to test and review the Flax-N-Whey protein powder. It intrigued me because it had flax in it-and I love using flax seeds as part of my daily diet. The flavor was not that bad at all! I could tell a difference between this whey and a standard whey-the flavor was different, but good overall. It also mixes easily with water or almond milk.

Flax-N-Whey™ delivers the optimal source of whey protein by combining a highly refined cross-flow micro-filtration and ion exchange processed whey. This specialized processing system insures a high quality protein source in the form of short and long chain peptides to increase protein retention – High Biological Value (HBV). Flax-N-Whey™ is also remarkably high in branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) which are the most required amino acids for maintaining metabolic rate (energy production) especially during dieting or protracted periods of "in-between" meals. Energy production is further enhanced through the addition of Trehalose, a long lasting energy substrate, which doesn’t affect insulin levels and minimizes fat storage.

MRM's Flax-N-Whey™ is comprised of superior ingredients that maximizes the health benefits of flaxseed and fatty acids. The Vanilla flavor tastes great and mixes instantly with your choice of liquid.

I also had the chance to review the Biotin supplement. I am currently in the process of growing out my pixie cut and Biotin is SUPERB for hair, skin, and nails. This partcular Biotin supplement is high potentcy than most and with one capsule you get 5mg! THIS STUFF WORKS.

Biotin, a water soluble B vitamin found in foods such as oatmeal and soy, assists in energy metabolism in cells.* Biotin is essential for the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. In addition, Biotin helps to support healthy skin, hair and nails.

Energy Production
Biotin is involved in the metabolism of both sugar and fat. In sugar metabolism, biotin helps move sugar from its initial stages of processing on to its conversion into usable chemical energy. For this reason muscle cramps and pains related to physical exertion, which may be the result of the body's inability to use sugar efficiently as fuel, may signal a biotin deficiency.

Synthesis of Fat (Fatty Acids)
Many of the classic symptoms of biotin deficiency are skin-related problems and the reason may be biotin's role in fat synthesis. Biotin is required for function of an enzyme in the body called acetyl Co-A carboxylase. This enzyme puts together the building blocks for the production of fat in the body. Fat production is critical for all cells in the body since the membranes of all cells must contain the correct fat components to function properly. Fat production is especially critical for skin cells as they die and are replaced very rapidly, and serve as a selective barrier to the outside environment. When cellular fat components cannot be made properly due to biotin deficiency, skin cells are among the first cells to develop problems.

Support of Nervous System Activity
Because glucose and fat are used for energy within the nervous system, biotin also functions as a supportive vitamin in this area. Numerous nerve-related symptoms have been linked to biotin deficiency. These symptoms include seizures, lack of muscle coordination (ataxia), and lack of good muscle tone (hypotonia).

Overall, MRM still continues to impress me as a supplement company with their genuine and high quality array of products!
