Fringesport Battle Rope Review

Hi ladies! Say goodbye to your endless arm jiggle because I have a solution for you to use at home.

I have a cool piece of gym equipment to introduce you guys to. I'm reviewing Fringesport- a company created in 2010 by two avid CrossFitting brothers Peter & Alex from Texas that supplies an incredible stash of CrossFit Equipment that you can buy to use at home. I have

Here's what sets them apart from other companies and how they make our lives as the consumer easier:
  • Customers first- always
All the products they offer come with an industry-leading 365-day guarantee. Yes, you read it right: if, for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, return it to us within 365 for a full – no drama – refund. They even reimburse you the cost of having the product sent back to us. They stand behind every sale and every customer – simple!
  • Your pain is our pain
They take your time seriously. If you have a problem, they have a problem. Then they solve it fast, with common sense and again- no drama.
  • If we don't use it, we don't sell it
Every member of the team is a committed and active CrossFitter. They test and use all the gear on the market- our gear, competitors' gear, and more. They sell the best. If they can't get it, they build it themselves.

I highly recommend to anyone that building your own home gym is the best thing you can do to stay on track. Also, I understand some women may feel like they look silly so now they can workout in the privacy of their own homes. Also, it's super convenient! You can workout in your home gym while your baby sleeps in the next room.

I had the chance to review the One Fit Wonder battle rope in the black & pink limited edition color and 1.5 inches in diameter. The rope is so simple to use! To begin, just tie the center of the rope around a steel pole. Grab the ends and get ready for a KILLER arm workout!

There are a few key moves that you can do with the battle rope. Here are two simple yet very effective moved to tone your whole arm!

The Tsunami or "Double Waves": Performing the basic Tsunami wave is fairly simple: just wrap a longer rope around a pole or anything else that won’t budge, grab both ends, and get into a half-squat position. Starting the wave looks a lot like painting with a giant brush; using your legs, abs, arms, and shoulders, you’re looking for big, clean strokes at an even 1:1 pace. If the upstroke is slower than the downstroke or vice versa, you’ll end up slapping the floor, and all that power you generated will simply die in front you. Once you’ve got the movement down and the waves are consistent, start bumping up the pace – the faster you go, the tougher the exercise will get. When done right, you’ll feel this one through your shoulders and abs like crazy, as soon as you can pull your head out of that bucket over in the corner.

The Hurricane or "Alternating Waves": The movement principle for the Hurricane is similar to the Tsunami in that you’re looking to create a series of smooth waves, this time without help from the abs, as you’ll be alternating your strokes and developing most of the power through your arms and shoulders, at a higher speed to boot. Hand movement will almost resemble beating a drum, and you should keep the pace even, without “galloping” and one hand outpacing the other. While this movement will shred your shoulders in no time, your arms will definitely know they were worked – try not to plan any great tests of penmanship for a day or two afterward.

There's a third move called the Crossover which involve making lateral waves with the rope, but I was unable to do them as I need to work on my arm strength more. Haha!

I had a blast using the battle ropes. It is a fun alternative to doing push ups or tricep dips for nice arms because you really workout without thinking about it. And-it works the whole entire arm to burn fat and build your strength. Every woman should own one of these at her home!
